A website and e-commerce system produced for a local company providing stock photography to businesses and publishers. The site contains searchable galleries of images covering a wide range of subjects and the user has the facility to construct their own 'lightbox' of favourite pictures. These can be purchased online via a secure credit card transaction and a very high resolution JPEG2000 file, suitable for use in publishing, is then made available for immediate download. There are also 'back-office' facilities that allow the company to control the content of the site, such as creating new galleries and uploading images. They also have the ability to manage customers and track orders. |
