Mansfield Castle Hotel
A website designed and developed for a luxury hotel in Ross-shire. The site has detailed information about the hotel, its rooms, dining facilities and menus. There are specific sections for people planning to hold their wedding or business conferences at the hotel and there are pages for travel information and contact details. The site also contains an online guestbook where visitors to the hotel or the website can post their comments. Reservations can also be made online and the site has secure facilities to accept credit card details. Much of the content of the site is controlled through a custom-written content management system (CMS) which allows the hotel to make changes to the site without the need to have pages re-written. One example is the restaurant menu pages which can be updated on the site at the same time as they are in the hotel. The online guestbook, as well as receiving compliments about the hotel and its service also contains comments such as "Excellent site" and "Great website, by the way!"
